Silicon MENA

Official registers

Silicon MENA keeps its fintech directory in step with the public registers of financial regulators across the GCC. Licensed companies get a page in the directory, and every company page shows the licenses behind it.

How it works

Every week Silicon MENA reads each register and records its entries. A licensed fintech that isn’t on the platform yet gets a company page; a company that is already listed is linked to its licenses, and its page is never overwritten. Traditional banks, leasing and real estate finance companies are recorded but only shown when their company is already listed.

When an entry disappears from a register, the company page says it is no longer listed instead of removing it. If a register suddenly returns far fewer entries than before, nothing is marked as removed until the same result repeats.

Spotted a mistake? Company admins can edit their page, and anyone can report an issue from the company page.
